New HTC U11 Plus teaser shows a small screen bezel

New HTC U11 Plus teaser shows a small screen bezel

Earlier this week HTC outed its for the upcoming where we expect the to become official. And today the Taiwanese company is back with another picture, this time showing us a teeny tiny bit of the phone's front. While one corner normally isn't much to go on, what's very obvious here is that the bottom screen bezel is much smaller than we've seen from HTC's recent flagships. So it definitely looks like the rumors will pan out and the U11 Plus will be the first HTC handset with a tall 18:9 aspect ratio and small bezels. We wouldn't call this 'near-bezelless' though, for at least the bottom bezel is still definitely there, but it's a nice step forward. The company promises that we'll believe it all on November 2, by the way. The HTC U11 Plus is supposed to feature a 5.99-inch 1,440x2,880 touchscreen, the Snapdragon 835 running things, 4 or 6GB of RAM, and 64 or 128GB of built-in storage. The main camera will be a 12 MP unit with f/1.7 aperture, while selfies will be shot by an 8 MP sensor. The phone has been rumored to sport a beefy 3,930 mAh battery and run Android 8.0 Oreo from day one. We'll find out all about it next week.
