Now you can make Google Duo video calls directly through Truecaller app

Truecaller has announced the launch of Google Duo integration on both Android and iOS. What that means is, users will now be able to make Duo video calls directly from within the Truecaller app. This update enables users to launch a Duo video call with a single tap within the Truecaller app and can switch between WiFi and cellular data for uninterrupted conversation on-the-go, Truecaller said in a blog post. Another point worth mentioning is that this new functionality is permission-based, meaning users will be able to opt in and out at any time. Also, for the feature to work, both caller and receiver need to have the Duo app installed on their device.

New OnePlus 5 color option incoming

OnePlus is all set to launch a new color option for its smartphone. The Chinese company has shared a teaser through its official Weibo account. The image shows the phone's two exiting color options black and gray along with a new, colorless entry. There's also a caption: Who is coming? So which color it could be? Well, we'll place our bet on gold, given that the handset's TENAA listing had revealed a 'mint gold' color option, which wasn't part of the original lineup. While pricing shouldn't change, there's no information on the availability front, although given that the company has officially started building hype, launch shouldn't be far off.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 'final' specs leak in full

Samsung is officially unveiling the phablet . That's exactly three weeks from today for what it's worth. And with just three weeks to go until the grand event, today what are purported to be the phone's final specs have been leaked in full by the usually reliable Evan Blass. So here's what you can expect. As evidenced by the leaked press renders below, the Note8's design will be similar to that of the , but not identical. For example, the corners are more squared-off (including those of the screen). And then there's obviously the addition of the S Pen stylus. On the other hand, the Note8 is only marginally bigger with its 6.3-inch display that keeps the 2,960x1,440 resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio of the S8 duo. The Note8's dimensions are 162.5 x 74.6 x 8.5 mm. IP68 certification for water and dust resistance is a go. The smartphone is powered by a 3,300 mAh battery with fast and wireless charging support. A USB Type-C port is in, and the launch colors will be Midnight Black and Maple Gold (pictured above). These will be out in September, followed at some later point by Orchid Grey and Deep Sea Blue. The handset will be priced at 999 in Europe. At the helm we'll find the same Exynos 8895 SoC that's inside the S8 devices on the global market, and the same Snapdragon 835 for the US. These will be coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The two rear cameras both feature 12 MP sensors, a wide-angle one with an f/1.7 aperture and dual-pixel autofocus, and an f/2.4 telephoto one which enables 2x fixed zoom. Both lenses come with optical image stabilization. On the front there's an 8 MP camera with f/1.7 aperture. All of the above reportedly comes from a person briefed on the device's final configuration, and this close to the announcement things are unlikely to change.
